From Concept to Completion: Choosing the Right Project Delivery Method

This presentation provides an introduction to the major project delivery methods as outlined in the CSI Project Delivery Practice Guide (PDPG), including Design-Bid-Build, Construction Manager at Risk, Design-Build, and Integrated Project Delivery. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of each method, including the contractual relationships, responsibilities, and roles of project stakeholders. The presentation will also explore the benefits and limitations of each approach, enabling architects and allied professionals to make informed decisions when advising clients or selecting appropriate delivery methods for various project types. Real-world considerations such as cost, schedule, and project complexity will be discussed to support strategic project planning and execution.
