Presenter: Nicholas Loya | Visual Interest
Nicholas Loya has worked in lighting since 2019, first as a regional manager for the mid-Atlantic with a factory focused on fulfilling government and large end-user contracts. In 2021 he moved from the East Coast to New Mexico, and in 2023 joined a manufacturers' rep agency focusing on the design community here in northern New Mexico, and in May joined Visual Interest here in New Mexico again focusing on the design community.
Before lighting, he studied the Great Books at St. John's College, then business at The Busch School of Business at The Catholic University of America, then worked in market research and consulting in Northern Virginia and started a property management company focusing on historical properties. He enjoys travel, history (has gotten lost in a few medieval cemeteries), art (especially ceramics!) and watching baseball (Dodgers are looking alright).
